She then refined her craft under the mentorship of Anamika Khanna for 3.5 years, focusing on the Lehenga department. In 2014, Shalini Dokania moved to Bangalore and launched her brand in 2015 from a terrace studio with just one tailor. Today, as an independent designer, she combines academic learning and professional experience to create unique, handcrafted pieces that celebrate individuality. Drawing from cultural heritage and modern aesthetics, each design blends tradition with innovation. From a small studio to a flagship store in Sanjaynagar, Shalini’s collections are now stocked in over 10 multi-designer stores across India.
